Bangkok-based correspondent/cameraman with World Report/Sweden since 2013. 

First arrived in Southeast Asia as a social anthropology student.
Returned to Southeast Asia as correspondent/cameraman for Rapport/Swedish Television, also writing for Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Sydsvenska Dagbladet.

Subsequently ran the Worldwide Television News (ABC/ITN/Ch9) Bangkok Bureau, covering stories from South Korea to Afghanistan.

Based in San Francisco from 1987.  Covered stories across the US and internationally, primarily for ABC News and WTN (London).  Frequent work across Asia for both organisations, as well as documentaries for Channel 4 (UK) and print journalism for Dagens Nyheter, among other media outlets.


Some major stories: Afghanistan, Sri Lanka civil war, San Francisco earthquake, Indian Ocean tsunami, any number of hi-tech and medical stories.
